Nature Immersion

“Soul is that unconditioned, mysterious, untamed, undomesticated, unique individual wild core of ourselves which is inextricably connected to the mysteries of wild nature.”

– Claire Dunn

Individual Coaching Retreats

The wilderness, with its dynamic rhythms and patterned intelligence, is a rich resource for leaders looking to bring greater self-awareness – of their inner nature – to their work and purpose in the world.

The slower pace, pure beauty, and open vistas of nature allow our nervous system to down-shift. This down-shifting brings our state into a balanced homeostasis from which to contemplate and reflect on our life experience, our longings, and our inner truth. Nature is a mirror for our psyche – reflecting our deeper, less conscious aspects of self and giving us an opportunity to see more of who we really are and to make choices from a wider perspective.

It’s this inner soul connection that allows you to inhabit a grounded and powerful expression of who you authentically are and step into the boldness of what only you can do.

I organize 3-5 day retreats in the mountains and valleys of the Catskills in NY. You will stay in a private rental in the area, which I will help you find, and we work together for a 2-hour intensive each morning.

Based specifically on the nature of our work together, I create activities and reflective exercises in between our meetings to enrich the journey and maximize the value of your retreat.

Systemic Team Retreats

Getting away together to the wilderness is an incredible opportunity to do intensive work on the relationship system of a team. Being in a relaxed, open environment in which the focus is on being together, reflecting and discussing the way you work together provides:

  • Time and space to strengthen relationships and trust among team members.

  • An open environment to air breakdowns and learn and grow from them together.

  • A chance to reflect and refresh the team’s sense of purpose, clarifying mission, and vision.

  • A chance to align on key decisions and future strategies with external stakeholders, in order to achieve your vision.

This kind of time together allows for greater cohesiveness and productivity in pursuing your goals when you return back to your work environment.

I organize 3-4 day team retreats, allowing for at least 3 night together. I work with several venues in the Catskill mountains, each deeply embedded in nature, at a range of price points.

The program is custom designed for each client based on interviews and in partnership with a cohort of the team. We seek to balance our time between inner reflection and connection in nature for team members and team time to come together in dialogue. The richness of combining personal time and team time allows for greater acceleration of understanding, trust and alignment.
